I have been working with children for over 20 years, and I have been a licensed therapist for 8 years. My desire is to help children develop in a healthy way- mind, body and soul!  I believe that given the time, tools, and opportunity to explore the issues they are facing, each child will work toward becoming the best version of themselves. 

Play therapy is a form of behavioral therapy.  Since children do not have abstract reasoning at a young age or primarily use logical thought, play is the most effective way for them to communicate and experience growth. It is effective with both behavioral and emotional needs. I specifically use child-centered play therapy.
